Photography with aloha

At Live Aloha Photography, I hold a deep reverence for the rich culture and traditions of Hawaiʻi. Having grown up on these islands, I understand the importance of mālama ʻāina—caring for the land, and the role that ʻohana and community play in the spirit of aloha. Every photo I capture honors the cultural heritage, beauty, and soul of this sacred place.

My work reflects a respect for Hawaiian values, language, and the connection we have to nature and each other. I aim to capture not just moments, but the mana, or spirit, that is woven into every interaction, every glance, and every shared smile.

With each session, I strive to create images that reflect the essence of aloha: love, peace, and mutual respect.

It’s about more than just photographs—it’s about preserving the spirit of these islands and the people who call them home, whether for a lifetime or a fleeting moment.

"“Most of my images are grounded in people. I look for the unguarded moment, the essential soul peeking out, experience etched on a person’s face.”"
